Drum and Dance Performers

Bi-Okoto was established in 1994 as a professional African dance company with a mission to preserve, promote and share the cultural heritage of Africa through drums, dance and more. They take audiences on an interactive journey to West Africa through a broad range of dance dialects and styles. Each program showcases various West African tribes with authentic costumes, props and instruments.

Bone Voyage Jazz Band
20th Century Jazz Band

Bone Voyage brings the refreshing sound of trombones, trumpets, vibraphone, rhythm and reeds. The group is noted for its extensive repertoire. They play the Great American Songbook in a wide range of styles, including Bourbon Street, Broadway, Dixieland, swing, Latin and mainstream jazz.

New Orleans Style Brass

The Cincy Brass is a 9-piece New Orleans style brass band playing their own arrangements of popular favorites. Made up of some of the most well-liked jazz musicians in Cincinnati, they are all collegiate trained with jazz degrees and able to adapt to your needs. The whole band or individual members are available for performances or the group can be hired.

Clark and Jones Trio
Celtic and Seasonal Music

The Clark & Jones Trio is Jude Jones on violin/guitar, Nancy Bick Clark on Celtic harp and Frank Clark on bodhrán drum and percussion. They've been performing traditional and original music in Celtic, Appalachian, European and classical styles in the Cincinnati region for over 15 years. The group performs regularly at retirement communities, libraries and corporate functions.

Celtic and Seasonal Harp and Bodhrán Music

Irish, American, and European dance tunes, songs, and airs on bodhran (Irish drum), Celtic harp, recorder, and vocals. Nancy also performs solo, in duos, and in trios. Frank and Nancy also perform in the Clark and Jones Trio with Jude Jones.

Repertoire includes Celtic Harp, folk music and some classical ranging from relaxing harp airs to lively dance tunes. Also performs in duo with Frank Clark on Bodhran drum/vocals. Nancy has played with famed traditional Irish folk group The Chieftains at Riverbend.

Ernaisja Curry is delighted to expand her artistic work with Artswave! Since completing Cincinnati Playhouse’s Bruce E. Coyle Acting Internship, the Florida native has performed with Cincinnati Shakespeare, Ensemble Theatre, Know Theatre, Pones, The Carnegie and YPCC. When not on stage or screen, she directs, choreographs and coaches students as a teaching artist.

Hannah Gregory is a multi-disciplinary theater artist, writer and producer. She has appeared onstage with Know Theatre, Cincinnati Landmark Productions, The Carnegie, and Memorial Hall. She frequently premieres written and musical works at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, including her folk musical "Descent: a Murder Ballad," which won the 2019 Producer's Pick, and her western theatrical film "The Belle and Boone Helm," which won the 2021 Critics' Pick.

Adoria Maxberry
Live Painting, Performance Art and Visual Arts

Adoria Maxberry is a visual artist, educator, and the owner of Most OutGROWing LLC. Her work fosters unique and meaningful art experiences with a focus on creativity, exploration and reflection. She holds a Master of Visual Arts Education and Licensure from the UC’s DAAP, where she was acknowledged as the 2020 School of Art Outstanding Graduate Student, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts, Public Relations from Xavier University. Adoria is also a voice actor and lead puppeteer for Paige Turner the owl on the Emmy Winning children's show "Paige's Place."

Hammered Dulcimer Player

Kyle Meadows is known locally and nationally as one of the finest hammered dulcimer players available. A performer with ArtsWave, the Cincinnati Arts Association, and the Kentucky Arts Council, Kyle plays for festivals, parties, weddings and at hospitals and hospices for Cincinnati Arts Association’s Arts in Healing program. Kyle's music works well in situations where background music is advantageous. He can play solo or with a Celtic harpist.

My Nose Turns Red is Cincinnati's premier youth circus organization. Part of the National Social Circus Network, MNTR has been transforming youth through circus arts. Our coaches and students showcase their amazing circus skills: juggling, unicycling, hooping and even the gym (German) wheel. After a short demonstration it's time to get the audience involved so they can try their hand at the various skills.

Mike Oberst is the singer, songwriter, banjoist, fiddler, harmonica and general multi instrumentalist for the string band, The Tillers. As a soloist, he performs a wide variety of  songs about Cincinnati’s history and folklore, all done in the vein of traditional old time string band music.

Queen City Opera's mission is to advance the careers of the most promising emerging classical artists by providing them with compensated performance engagements, combining high caliber classical music with a focus on contemporary issues. They can provide performance groups with flexible arrangements of different orchestral instruments (for example, string quartets, brass ensembles, woodwind quintets), or small groups of singers with piano accompaniment.

MoPoetry Phillips is an international spoken word artist. She is the co-founder of Regal Rhythms Poetry LLC, founder of Hit the Mic Cincy open mic, a member of the Urban Appalachian Community Coalition and a certified poetry group facilitator. She facilitates weekly writing circles, workshops, summer camps and events within the school, college and prison system.

Kate Stark is a dancer, actor, singer, choreographer, and voice over artist based in Cincinnati. In a previous life, she was a TV news producer. Today, she performs with companies like The Carnegie, Cincinnati Landmark Productions, The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Know Theatre, InBocca Performance, and Pones Inc. She teaches students of all ages through Cincinnati Ballet and Dancing with Parkinson’s.

Zack Steele, a New York-based actor hailing from Cincinnati, holds his B.F.A. in Acting from Wright State University. Zack portrayed Johnny Cash in Memorial Hall’s production "Ring of Fire" and is a recurring vocalist with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra’s “Boogie Band.” Other select credits include Anthony Hope in "Sweeney Todd" and Patrick in "Mame" at the Human Race Theatre in Dayton. Zack spends his time between theatrical productions as a principal singer aboard Holland America Line cruise ships. Zack is a proud member of Actors Equity.

Singer/songwriter Tracy Walker performs original songs and covers. Her genre is a blend of folk, jazz, blues and pop. She has received two CAMMY Awards (Cincinnati Enquirer), 2 CEA Awards (Cincinnati CityBeat Newspaper) and the Taft Museum of Art's Duncanson Artist in Residency. Tracy has developed a reputation as a fierce performer both solo as well as with her band.

The Young Professionals Choral Collective of Cincinnati believes in creating connections through choral music. Formed in November 2011, YPCC has a roster of over 1,200 volunteer singers ranging in age from 21-45 who live and work throughout Greater Cincinnati. YPCC presents high-quality and collaborative performances to the community. They foster an inclusive environment that celebrates the uniqueness and diversity of its members.
