Boardway Bound is Back!

Boardway Bound is ArtsWave's board training and matching program that builds a pipeline of qualified, diverse board members for the arts sector is back for our Fall 2022 class!

Boardway Bound provides interactive content and conversations with leaders from the Cincinnati region’s arts community. Each session explores real-life issues confronting arts boards and provides time for networking (sponsored by Thompson Hine) and team building. The 2022 curriculum includes a combination of six class sessions and carefully chosen articles, thought pieces, videos and sample board materials.

2022 Sessions: 

October 20: Welcome to Boardway Bound

October 27: Nonprofit Governance and Cultural Competency

November 3: Understanding Nonprofit Finance and Marketing

November 10: Storytelling for Fundraising

November 17: My Board Service: Getting Started

December 1: Speed Dating with Arts Organizations All sessions feature Thompson Hine Nightly Networking time. Sessions are 3:30-6 p.m. with the first half-hour being Nightly Networking, which includes drinks, light snacks and time to meet arts organizations. Participants are expected to attend all sessions. All session will take place at ArtsWave, 20 E. Central Parkway, Cincinnati.

FY23 Sustaining Impact Grant Program

Because of the impact of the pandemic, ArtsWave is extending the FY2020-2022 Sustaining Impact cycle for one additional year. Current cohort organizations should complete the FY2023 Sustaining Impact Extension application, which is DUE APRIL 8, 2022 at 5:00 pm, in order to be eligible for the extension funding.

FY2022 "Truth & Reconciliation": Project Grants for Black & Brown Artists

ArtsWave’s Black and Brown Artist grants are designed to provide financial support so that Black and Brown artists in the Cincinnati region can continue to interpret the themes of our times. The program is one way that ArtsWave is working to increase the sustainability of organizations and artists that focus on the preservation and advancement of Black arts and culture.
