Reports to: Director of Education & Outreach and Assistant Director of Education & Outreach

Hours: 20 – 25 hours/wk.

Morning/afternoon hours, Mon-Fri. (flexibility required)

Skills Needed:

  • Art, Art Education, Education, Community Art, or Arts Management degrees are preferable (students currently working on a degree and recent grads encouraged to apply.)
  • Experience working with children and teens ages 5 to 16.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time well.
  • General aptitude for computers/computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams and ability to grasp new computer programs quickly and efficiently with provided training.
  • Good photography and videography abilities.
  • Good organization skills, especially with digital files.
  • Positive attitude; good communication/people skills.
  • Timeliness and professional dress required.

General Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Prep camper name tags and attendance sheets each week.
  • Facilitate camper check-ins and check-outs each day.
  • Ongoing management and filing of camper health & safety forms.
  • Assist camp teachers with material preparation, clean-up, etc.
  • Assist students with projects as needed/instructed by teacher.
  • Take photos throughout week.
  • Create/distribute Final Friday invitations, flyers, gift bags, etc.
  • Help teachers with Friday show set-up (hang art, make signs, labels, etc.)
  • Other duties as needed.
