Did you know that culturally enriching field trips can do everything from boosting grades to decreasing absences and behavioral issues in classrooms? Did you know that nationally, only 54% of schools offer arts-based field trips?

Did you know that Teacher Appreciation Week runs from May 4-8 this year?

Maybe one way to show appreciation for local educators would be to help make those benefits felt at schools across the Cincinnati region. Don’t get us wrong: You should also actually thank your kids’ teachers. Maybe pitch in for a gift card, too. But if you’re here, you’re probably someone who believes in supporting the arts in Cincy anyway, so it could be a great addition.

We can make that easy for you! Right now, thanks to a generous matching grant from Cintas Cares, you can send TWO local students on an arts field trip by pitching in just $20 to ArtsWave’s More Arts, More Kids initiative. That’s right. For price of two Skyline 3-ways or a family size of Graeter’s Ice Cream, you can send two Cincy students on a transformative field trip to the arts.

Since it launched, the More Arts, More Kids program has allowed nearly 20,000 students across the Cincinnati region to experience curriculum-based arts field trips each year at no cost to their schools or families.

Make a teacher’s day, make two students’ days and make an impact on the region’s next generation by pitching in $20 today.

But seriously, you should also say thank you.
