Award-winning classical violinist Evin Blomberg currently plays in the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and POPS, and she is the Founder & CEO of the Soli Music Society, a mission-driven organization that aims to strengthen, enrich, and inspire the community through music. Before coming to Cincinnati, Evin lived in London, England where she played with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra. The Clark & Jones Trio is Jude Jones on violin/guitar, Nancy Bick Clark on Celtic harp and Frank Clark on bodhrán drum and percussion. They’ve been performing traditional and original music in Celtic, Appalachian, European and classical styles in the Cincinnati region for over 15 years. Celtic and Seasonal Harp and Bodhrán Music
Frank and Nancy Bick Clark have been performing for over 30 years on Celtic harp, bodhrán (Irish goatskin hand drum), recorder, vocals, and other percussion, playing Irish to Appalachian, international, styles, ranging from up-tempo dance tunes to reflective airs on the harp with triangle. In a live performance, Frank and Nancy engage the audience with active participation on familiar songs, which might include old time songs, Irish, or show tunes. The stories behind the songs are an important part of the program, along with sharing how the instruments work. They offer special seasonal programs for the December holidays, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, or Halloween/Thanksgiving.

She has been performing solo for over thirty years, as well as in a duo with her husband Frank Clark and with the “Clark and Jones Trio” with Jude Jones on violin and guitar. Dan Erdman’s main instrument is guitar, but he also plays Native American flute, piano, banjo, & sings. He’s also composed 80+ songs & recorded several albums, including one for children, since 1990. Dan is a member of the Cincinnati Arts Association’s Artist in Healing program, playing regularly at Hospice of Cincinnati. Dan has hosted sing/play alongs, performed his Life is Beautiful & Oasis concerts in a number of venues, and has shared his music for numerous benefits in the Cincinnati area & beyond. He also has performed at Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and restaurants…and more. His intention is to simply help listeners feel good. His latest album for adults is on all major streaming sites – ‘Into the Very Heart of Me’.

Música Popular Brasileira
Estrada do Sol does música popular brasileira or MPB, which is a trend in post-bossa nova urban popular music in Brazil that revisits typical Brazilian styles such as samba, samba-canção and baião and other Brazilian regional music, combining them with foreign influences, such as jazz and rock. The group is comprised of accomplished jazz pianist Brian Cashwell & vocalist Andrea Cefalo (husband and wife), and superb Brazilian guitarist Jorge Zilio. On some occasions we add drums/percussion.

In a 45 year career, Richard Goering has performed as a classical guitar and fingerstyle soloist, with orchestras and chamber music groups, and with classical and popular vocalists on concert series in the United States, in Spain, and Italy. He performs a broad repertoire embracing many genres: Latin, Classical, jazz, popular, and standards. Additionally, Richard can put together groups as needed: duos or trios with guitar and bass, cello, flute, violin or vocalist.

Sarah Gorak combines her youthful vocals, guitar-ukulele, and violin with live looping to create a unique sound palette of songwriting. Cincinnati based “Jam-Rock” band, The Grove has evolved from a tried-and-true four-chord Rock trope into an amalgamation of Blues, Electronica, Jam music and just about any other guitar-driven influence you can imagine. The Grove provides soulful guitar playing, spacey synth tracks, and down-to-earth lyricism. The Grove has earned recognition from press including The Cincinnati CityBeat, Fox19, and CincyMusic and has opened for known acts including members of Matchbox Twenty and blues legend Davy Knowles.

Harold is a Cincinnati based jam band that formed in 2022. Brothers Sam (vocals,drums) and Alex Tomes (vocals, keys, guitar) started to play music together 10+ years ago. Harold came together when friends Alex Thocker (vocals, guitar) and Corie Ress (vocals, bass) joined them in that pursuit. The their music is centered around improvisation, funky beats and engaging lyrics. They have played many successful shows in the jam band world such as Paradise music and beer festival, Madison Live, Oddfellows and more.

Brandon Hawkins is the Lead Artist of Soul Palette with more than 20 years of artistic expertise. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Africana Studies and a certificate in Fine Arts. Brandon has been passionate about art since his youth. He considers drawing, painting and graphic design to be some of his best talents. He also formerly served as the Visual Arts instructor for Elementz and has completed a couple of large scale mural projects with ArtWorks. Brandon dreams have become a reality with the opportunity to use his gifts and talents everyday to empower others to find their inner artist.

Luke-Michael
Singer/Songwriter
Small town Ohio native, Luke-Michael, is a rising singer/ songwriter and touring artist that is already catching the attention and hearts of listeners across the country. The soulful storyteller has been exploring the bounds of music and arts for years—leading him to music and acting careers in places such as Manhattan and Virginia Beach and studying at Berkley College of Music. Though these journeys came and went, his passion for music and storytelling was too strong to tame.
In 2023, Luke-Michael was invited to audition for Season 22 of American Idol in Santa Barbara, CA where he scored three yeses from esteemed judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie and took home a golden ticket. Following the audition, he advanced to Hollywood Week and left his all on the stage while using his incredible vocal ability, musicianship and storytelling to set him apart. Following his American Idol experience, Luke-Michael discovered an even stronger desire to write music and tell stories through song.

Adoria Maxberry is a visual artist, educator, and the owner of Most OutGROWing LLC. Her work fosters unique and meaningful art experiences with a focus on creativity, exploration and reflection. She holds a Master of Visual Arts Education and Licensure from the UC’s DAAP, where she was acknowledged as the 2020 School of Art Outstanding Graduate Student, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts, Public Relations from Xavier University. Adoria is also a voice actor and lead puppeteer for Paige Turner the owl on the Emmy Winning children’s show “Paige’s Place.”

A performer with ArtsWave and the Kentucky Arts Council, Kyle plays for a variety of private events and performs healing music in hospices, hospitals, and oncology centers for the Cincinnati Arts Association’s Arts in Healing initiative.
Kyle has a relaxed, almost effortless approach to his instrument. His music is soothing and works well as background music.

My Nose Turns Red Youth Circus (MNTR) provides a non-competitive, safe environment for students of all ages to be courageous, to set personal goals, to persevere, to work together, to be inspired, and to have fun. MNTR provides after-school programs, year-round classes at the Evendale Cultural Arts Center, and summer camps. Through funding from ArtsWave, the National Endowment for the Arts, SC Ministry Foundation, Ohio Arts Council, and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, MNTR is able to provide free after-school circus classes and summer camps to underserved youth.

Leo Pastel is an alternative r&b artist and a Cincinnati native. He has performed as a member of the Sunday Service Choir under the direction of Kanye West, and gained traction with his band of Detroit natives, Hard Car Kids. In 2023 Leo played his first two music festivals, The National’s Homecoming, and FWB fest in Idyllwild, CA.
Leo loves to push the boundaries of music and technology. He has partnered with web3 companies Songcamp, Metav3rse, FriendsWithBenefits, and more. His first two releases on sound.xyz charted at #2 and #1. Leo curated a virtual band named the Morphotones, in partnership with Metav3rse, integrating novel elements of AI music tech. The Morphotones went on to release the first GrimesAI track on the ethereum blockchain using Grimes’ open-source AI model.

Matt Rouch & The Noise Upstairs
Folk/Country/Americana Band
Matt Rouch & The Noise Upstairs originally formed in Denver when singer-songwriter Matt Rouch moved there in 2015. The band quickly rose to prominence in Colorado with their music being described as James Taylor meets the Fleet Foxes. The band won Best Country Band in Denver by 303 Magazine in 2018, and Rouch himself won an IMEA music award that same year for Folk Song of the Year, for his song Adelaide.
When he moved to Cincinnati in 2022 he formed a new iteration of the group and kept the playing style – a folk rock, alternative country band – or “y’all-ternative” as it’s been described by some. When he met Greta Propp, another newcomer to Cincy, who’s fiddling chops were some of the best he had heard, Rouch knew it was time to fill out the group and get the ball rolling with the Cincinnati version of Matt Rouch & The Noise Upstairs.

The Satin Smooth Project features Contemporary Pop, Instrumental, Funk, Soul, and R&B performances. The Project entertainers are based out of the Cincinnati Area and have performed with Local, Regional, and National Acts. Collectively, we carry over 100 years of musicianship which has come together to bring a sound unlike any other band in the area. In our third year as The Satin Smooth Project, the band’s stellar instrumental approach, dynamic and lyrical intensity, and vibrant showmanship will leave audiences thoroughly entertained and asking for more! This band knows how to get it done! We have performed at the City of Wyoming Summer Concert, City of Forest Park Jazz in the Park Concert, Cincinnati Reds Fan Zone Pre Game Concert, ArtsWave’s 2022 CVG Music Series and Performances at venues throughout the city.

Zack Steele, a New York-based actor hailing from Cincinnati, holds his B.F.A. in Acting from Wright State University. Zack portrayed Johnny Cash in Memorial Hall’s production “Ring of Fire” and is a recurring vocalist with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra’s “Boogie Band.” Other select credits include Anthony Hope in “Sweeney Todd” and Patrick in “Mame” at the Human Race Theatre in Dayton. Zack spends his time between theatrical productions as a principal singer aboard Holland America Line cruise ships. Zack is a proud member of Actors Equity.

Ben Tweedt
Jazz Pianist
Ben Tweedt is a pianist, composer, arranger, and music educator based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born in Brunswick, Ohio and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Ben began his classical training on the piano from a young age. By the beginning of his Piano Performance bachelor’s degree at the University of Nebraska-Omaha at the age of 17, he began to switch his focus to improvisation and composition while actively participating in the Omaha music scene.
After completing his degree in Omaha, Ben relocated to his current home city of Cincinnati to pursue a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where he received a full-ride scholarship and graduate assistantship. In 2018-2019, Ben taught at Central State University as an Adjunct Instructor of Jazz Studies.
Ben performs frequently in Cincinnati and other major cities in the region, spanning many genres and playing with a variety of artists. In addition to his own trio project as a leader, and other highly creative projects with Cincinnati musicians including Spherical Agenda, the Brandon Coleman Quartet, and the Eric Wurzelbacher Quartet, Ben performs regularly with other notable musicians in the region including Walfredo Reyes Jr. (Chicago, Steve Winwood, Santana, Tania Maria) and Dan Wilson (Christian McBride, Joey DeFrancesco). Ben was also the grand prize winner of the 2019 American Jazz Pianist Competition at the Yamaha Artist Center in New York.

Professional Vocalist and Thespian
Vee is no stranger to music, theater or television. You may have watched her on CBS belting it out as a 3-time Amateur Night Winner on “Showtime At the Apollo”, on BET as a featured unsigned artist on comedian Rickey Smiley’s “The Way We Do It,” or on the “Bobby Jones Gospel” Show. With 3 national theatrical tours to her credit, she has shared the stage with John Gray, Demond Wilson (of the TV sitcom “Sanford & Son”) and Kirk Franklin to name a few. Strong, compelling vocals, an exceptional acting ability and deep Dominican roots have led to her portrayal of many diverse, emotionally complex characters. Around the Tri-State area, Vee has appeared as an opening act for the Macy’s/P&G Music Festival. Vee opened for 3 National Acts as a part of the Friday flow free summer concert series at Washington Park. Currently, Vee’s greatest joy is serving at Crossroads Mason as a Worship Leader on a rotating schedule. Vee performs as a multi-genre solo act, or a duo, trio or specially crafted band upon request.

Singer/songwriter Tracy Walker performs original songs and covers. Her genre is a blend of folk, jazz, blues and pop. She has received two CAMMY Awards (Cincinnati Enquirer), 2 CEA Awards (Cincinnati CityBeat Newspaper) and the Taft Museum of Art’s Duncanson Artist in Residency. Tracy has developed a reputation as a fierce performer both solo as well as with her band.

WhirlWind Trio is composed of three instrumentalists who have over 70 years of individual performing experience combined: Keri Link on flute, piccolo, and alto flute; Carl Colvin on oboe and English horn; and Luanne Smith on Bb clarinet and Eb clarinet. WhirlWind primarily performs Eastern and Western art music and is a favorite for both intimate and public performance settings due to their eclectic programming and flexibility.

The Young Professionals Choral Collective of Cincinnati believes in creating connections through choral music. Formed in November 2011, YPCC has a roster of over 1,200 volunteer singers ranging in age from 21-45 who live and work throughout Greater Cincinnati. YPCC presents high-quality and collaborative performances to the community. They foster an inclusive environment that celebrates the uniqueness and diversity of its members.
