Veteran journalist Hillary Copsey has been appointed Director of Communications and Marketing at ArtsWave, the first and largest united arts fund in the country. ArtsWave’s previous Director of Communications, Rebecca Bromels, will step into a new role as Director of Engagement, connecting the arts sector to local businesses, volunteers, and other resources.

Most recently, Copsey has served in various management roles with the Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers in Florida, including Features/Entertainment Editor and Social Media Editor. Over the last year, she has worked as a freelance editor, writer and digital media consultant. Copsey is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.
