Ballet Instructor

We are looking for someone with a strong ballet background and experience in teaching ballet to all levels. We are looking for a teacher who will be excited to join our team and work side by side with our ballet director to keep our ballet program strong. This position requires 3 nights per week between the hours of 4:15 and 9:30. The class load will be at minimum 6 and maximum 9 classes including ballet and pointe for dancers ages 8-18, beg, int and adv levels. We are also looking for this teacher to be a part of our winter ballet production as well as choreograph for spring showcase and our spring recital. For reference the winter ballets are compensated as an additional salary and rehearse on Sundays August – December.

For reference our school is not a ballet school but a ballet focused school where our dancers are invested in their ballet training but also participate in dance competitions. We want a ballet teacher who will continue to push them technically but also understand our students desire to be well rounded dancers.
