Fulfillment Team Member

Reports to Fulfillment Team Lead

General Summary: Performs general stocking duties which include fulfilling online orders, verifying incoming shipments, inter-company transfers, and maintaining a functioning backroom to company standard. Also gain basic knowledge of the merchandise we sell. Work closely with Retail and Production Teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace
• Enable quick, efficient flow of merchandise to ensure an appealing experience for customers
• Assist with any shelf or department modifications under the direction of warehouse lead
• Maintain finished goods control by ensuring inventory accuracy, cycle counting, inventory adjustments, showroom transfers, etc.
• Complete finished products by making candles, mixing small batch plaster, etc.
• Maintain the changing organization of stock room during season changes to ensure capacity is maximized
• Assistance with all order fulfillment & shipping from website, wholesale, etc.
• Ability to move merchandise from delivery pallets to storage areas – Must handle heavy items occasionally
• Unload and verify receipt of goods against packing slip/documentation; deliver incoming orders to correct departments
• Safely operate equipment, and keep in good condition (i.e., scanning devices, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Track levels of product & shipping supplies on-hand, and request replenishment orders as needed

Minimum Qualifications Experience:
• A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
• Success working in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• The skills to use of a variety of technology and computer applications, Shopify experience is a plus
• The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Climb and stand on a ladder safely to reach high shelves
