The Jury Experience is a 60-minute scripted play presented as a live courtroom trial. The audience serves as the jury, and the show features alternative endings based on their verdict. Two scripts are live in Cincinnati: Death by AI and Death on the Port Side.
Please note we are looking for a Cincinnati-based actor. This project is non-AEA and paid. Flagging additional shows will be added and we are looking for talent with continuing availability for 2026.
Death by AI Rehearsals: 9 hours between April 6-8 in Cincinnati
Death on the Port Side Rehearsals: TBD May dates in Cincinnati (3-9 hours)
Pickup Rehearsals: Scheduled on cast / crew availability prior to each following show date
Performance Location: Memorial Hall | 1225 Elm St, Cincinnati, OH 45202
Death on the Port Side Show Dates:
May 22 (Friday – 6:00pm and 8:30pm)
Death by AI Show Dates
April 12 (Sunday – 3:00pm and 5:30pm)
June 7 (Sunday – 3:00pm and 5:30pm)
Compensation:
Rehearsals: $18/hour
Show Rate: $340 per show day, regardless of one or two performances per day. Show rate is inclusive of any day-of rehearsals at the venue.
Casting Breakdown:
We are looking for one actor to play both roles as follows
JUDGE THOMPSON (Any Gender, 55–65) | Death by AI
A seasoned judge caught in the middle of a technological and ethical frontier. Thoughtful, reflective, and humane, upholds authority without arrogance. Their curiosity about AI shapes their decisions. Personality Notes: Calm, wise, occasionally philosophical; authoritative but approachable. Appearance: Distinguished, well-groomed, composed.
WITNESS – SENATOR TERRY GILROY (Any Gender, 50s) | Death on the Port Side
A powerful politician and parent of the defendant. Terrified of scandal, but above all, a deeply loving parent. The facade is polished while the emotions beneath are volcanic.
