Next year, the nation will celebrate the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage. The 19th Amendment, passed by congress in June of 1919, was ratified by the states on August 18, 1920. During the roughly year-long centennial of the struggle for ratification, you can expect commemorations across the country. Here at home, ArtsWave plans to shine a spotlight on women who helped build, maintain and grow the incredible arts of Greater Cincinnati.
One way we'll be shining that spotlight is with a book celebrating women — both legacy and living — who have shaped, or are shaping, Greater Cincinnati's arts. We need your help to identify those women. They may be artists, visionaries, philanthropists, administrators or pivotal volunteer leaders. Nominate someone you know, someone you knew, or someone you admire from the past or the present today! We'll be accepting nominations through April 30, 2019.

Thanks in advance for your participation in this important and exciting project!
