ArtsWave Pride is celebrating the PRIDE in our region throughout June. Thanks to our partnership with Beam Suntory a portion of event proceeds from Cincy Pride events like this weekend's Pride Weekend Welcome Party, ChicOut Pride in the Park, Pride After Party and the Pride Tea Dance will benefit the ArtsWave Pride grants pool. Additionally, ArtsWave Pride is thrilled to walk with PNC Bank in the Cincinnati Pride Parade and delighted to recognize one of our co-founders, Brett Stover at Cincinnati Opera's Pride Night Celebration on June 29.

ArtsWave's newest networking and communication group has experienced a meteoric rise since forming in October 2017 under the leadership of co-founders Jennifer Damiano, Kathy Nardiello and Brett Stover. ArtsWave Pride now boasts nearly 1,600 members giving $370,000 to the Community Campaign. ArtsWave Pride is a group that welcomes and connects LGBTQIA individuals and Allies. Members receive invitations to special arts events to celebrate and support the arts together. To identify as an ArtsWave Pride member, simply check the ArtsWave Pride box when you make your pledge.

Grant support from ArtsWave Pride is made possible through new and increased gifts from ArtsWave Pride donors during our campaign and by ArtsWave Pride Ambassadors who make an additional gift of $150+. Last December, we awarded the first round of ArtsWave Pride grants selected by community volunteers, including the ArtsWave Pride Steering Committee for 2019 programming. While a few of the programs have wrapped up, you still have an opportunity to see "The Wolves" at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati through June 29 and four more opportunities throughout the year to see Cincinnati Film Society's "The Rainbow Film Series."
