Summer brings so many opportunities to experience amazing arts across the Greater Cincinnati region --including many events that are FREE. Check out some of the no cost and low cost arts experiences coming up in the next three months. JULY
Wednesdays on the Green happens every Wednesday night from 7:00 – 8:30 pm on the front lawn of The Clifton Cultural Arts Center, and features free art-making for kids, sweet and savory food vendors and diverse live music by Cincinnati’s finest musicians. Concerts are completely free and open to the public, and occur rain or shine! Through August 12th.
Swing along with The Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra as they perform a community concert on July 1st at 8:15 pm at Miami Whitewater Forest in Harrison.
Listen to the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra perform their Summer Series at Burnet Woods on July 2nd from 8:00 – 9:00 pm.
Take your kids to see Wump Mucket Puppets perform! They are offering multiple shows at different locations! - July 2nd at the Symmes Township Public Library of Cincinnati, July 4th at the Loveland Firecracker Festival, July 11th at Independence Kenton County Public Library, and July 15th Lawrenceburg Anderson Public Library.
Enjoy your summer evenings with Movies by the River, presented by Riverview East Academy - on July 3rd, 17th, and 31st.
The Cincinnati Opera presents an open dress rehearsal of Don Pasquale on Tuesday, July 7th at Music Hall. The event is free, but you must apply for tickets!
The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra kicks off their summer series with "Hits of the Big Red Machine Era" at Devou Park on Saturday, July 11th.
Don't miss a free performance that is fun for the whole family. Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati is expanding the walls of its intimate theatre by performing a special presentation of Steven Dietz's Still Life with Iris as a part of 3CDC's OTR Performs Series. This one-hour event will be held at 6:00 pm on July 19, 2015 at Washington Park. Still Life with Iris is a fantastical adventure that centers on a little girl's search for the simplest of things: home. Featuring a number of veteran members of ETC's Acting Intern Program.
Visit Cincinnati Art Galleries to view the All-Star Invitational exhibit, from July 11th to August 21st.
Wacky about puppets? See Madcap Puppets perform on July 17th at Independence, KY Memorial Park and on July 22nd at Boone Woods Park.
Love to shop and people watch? Explore the City Flea in Washington Park on Saturday, July 25th, where you will discover local artists and vendors.
Elementz hosts Hip Art in Washington Park, part of the park's "OTR Performs" series on Sunday, July 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Featuring concert:nova, ISWHAT?!, the Millenium Robots, and Elementz' own Kre8v hip hop dance team, this family-friendly event is sure to get everyone up and moving.
Like baseball and art? Check out Up At Bat: Warhol and Baseball at the Cincinnati Art Museum. This exhibition brings together Warhol’s three known paintings of baseball players, each of whom rose to the level of pop celebrity during his lifetime, together for the first time on record – ends August 2nd.
AUGUST

Celebrate Cincinnati’s German heritage with music, food, and more at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati in Downtown Cincinnati on September 18th though 20th.

Love museums? You can always visit the Taft Museum of Art for free on Sundays (thanks to Western & Southern Financial Group). Want something more modern? The Contemporary Arts Center has free admission (thanks to Macy's) on Monday nights from 5-9pm. The Cincinnati Art Museum has free admission, as well as numerous free events (especially on weekends), like daily tours, Art 360, Art After Dark, Family First Saturdays, and more!
Downtown has lots of great opportunities for free art. Check out the Weston Art Gallery, located next to the Aronoff Center; discover your new favorite ArtWorks murals, take a glance at the YWCA gallery, or see some free art at the public library.
Looking for something a little more daring? Manifest Gallery shows some of the latest cutting-edge art, and is always free to visit!
Christ Church Cathedral (in downtown Cincinnati) has Music Live at Lunch every Tuesday! Free if you bring your own lunch, or just $5 to buy lunch at the cathedral.
