Ten teams faced off in the vocal showdown of the year on Wednesday, April 19, during CincySings, ArtsWave's nationally-recognized model for employee engagement. Held at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, the event was emceed by Drew Lachey, best known for being a member of pop group 98 Degrees and crowned champion of season 2 of
Dancing with the Stars.
The panel of judges comprised members of Cincinnati's local art and entertainment scene: Bob Herzog, Local 12 anchor; Janelle Gelfand, arts writer for the Cincinnati Enquirer; Kathy Wade, an award-winning jazz vocalist and CEO of Learning Through Art, Inc.; and John Morris Russell, conductor of the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. New this year was the addition of the Live Fan Favorite category - which generated a record-setting more than $8,000 in revenue for the ArtsWave Annual Community Campaign!

98.6 Degrees was named Grand Prize Winner and Fan Favorite of the evening and the P&Gtles were named Runner Up. Winning teams earned a guaranteed spot in next year's CincySings.
CincySings will return in 2018, with 98.6 Degrees and the P&Gtles guaranteed to compete. Stay tuned!
