Here’s a one of a kind Christmas story that you don’t want to miss! Cincinnati Black Theatre Company’s family-friendly production of Black Nativity is filled with the impactful sounds of gospel music, praise, worship, song and dance, with bursts of energetic, astounding costuming and prophetic storytelling.
Black Nativity originated in 1961 and was first performed Off-Broadway by Langston Hughes. CBTC’s modified celebration of the birth of Jesus exhibits more than just another Christmas production. This illustrious story is filled with joyfulness as it expresses one of the Bible’s most prevailing narratives, taking audiences back to Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago.
