It's been a remarkable first year for ArtsWave Pride. The newest member of ArtsWave Connects — networking and communications groups for donors — has seen unprecedented year-one growth. The group is focused on inclusion for LGBTQIA individuals and allies, and it has clearly found a supportive audience: ArtsWave Pride already boasts nearly 1,500 members.

Thanks to PNC Bank, members who make a $75+ gift to ArtsWave receive complimentary invitations to the ArtsWave Pride event series, hosted by ArtsWave-supported organizations. The inaugural year's event series kicked off on June 1 with a celebratory evening at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. On June 22, Cincinnati Opera will host Pride Night, inviting ArtsWave Pride members to attend for free.

The very next day, ArtsWave Pride, CSO Spectrum and Cincinnati Opera are proud to walk with PNC Bank in the 2018 Cincinnati Pride Parade. If you would like to walk in the Pride Parade with us, please register here.

The event series continues October 12 with a post-concert Pride celebration after Cincinnati Pops' "Haunted Hall" Concert, then wraps up November 11 with a tea dance at the Contemporary Arts Center, complete with a tour of Akram Zaatori's “Notions of Desire” exhibition.

Give an additional $150 beyond your ArtsWave Community Campaign donation to become an ArtsWave Pride Ambassador. Your additional gift will help fund a new grantmaking pool, driven by the ArtsWave Pride Steering Committee, to bring to life arts activities of interest to LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies. We will recognize ArtsWave Ambassadors in our marketing materials and at ArtsWave Pride events.
