The 2019 ArtsWave Community Campaign is entering its final month. As we continue to raise funds for 100+ arts organizations around Greater Cincinnati, we're also showcasing the arts three Saturdays in a row through ArtsWave Days, brought to you by Macy's.

Tomorrow, March 30, is Hands-On Arts. 100+ free classes, performances and activities will be available at ten different locations all over Greater Cincinnati. You’ll be able to enjoy everything from wood crafting to pottery making, salsa, manga comic book drawing, hip-hop, tap and Balinese dance classes, shadow puppet design, scavenger hunts, bead work creations, face painting and an assortment of performances throughout the day. Check out this schedule at a glance, or get the full details at ArtsWave.org/Days!

Next Saturday, April 6, is Open Houses. On this extraordinary day, two of Greater Cincinnati's most treasured institutions will open their doors to the public, free of charge. From noon to 4 p.m., you’ll enjoy guided tours while exploring behind the scenes at Music Hall, with rehearsals, visual arts performances and more.

Talented young performers from the School for Creative and Performing Arts and Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra will take part, as well as professional musicians from The May Festival, Cincinnati Opera and more. Cincinnati Ballet will host drop-in youth dance classes while Visionaries & Voices will display original works by some of their amazing artists.

From 4-8 p.m., The Taft Museum of Art will keep the day's momentum going with an arts-filled party. Admission to the Historic House will be free, including special exhibitions "Winslow Homer to Georgia O'Keeffe and "Travels with Turner," plus free guided tours every half-hour. Food trucks from Red Sesame, Chicken Mac and Graeter's will be on-hand throughout the evening so you can grab a bite to eat.

On the front lawn and in the tent, performances from Pones, Cincinnati Youth Choir, Melodic Connections and Bacchanal Steel Drum Band will provide entertainment, along with headliners Lauren Eylise and TRIIIBE in the tent. Check out this schedule for the whole day, both Music Hall and the Taft Museum of Art, or get all the details at ArtsWave.org/Days.

The grand finale of ArtsWave Days this year will be Soul of the Arts, a pair of amazing concerts at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. At 4 p.m., Revolution Dance Theatre, Cincinnati Super Choir and Kentucky Symphony Orchestra will perform. The 6 p.m. concert will feature MUSE, Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, and Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. As with all ArtsWave Days, it's all completely free! Tickets are limited, though, so make sure you reserve your spot today!

We hope to see you at all of these incredible events as we head into the final stretch of the 2019 ArtsWave Community Campaign for the arts!
