CincySings 2019 Judges

Cincy’s hottest singing competition once again rocked Music Hall this past Tuesday. ArtsWave CincySings, brought to you by Accenture, showcased ten choirs from companies across Greater Cincinnati, each getting their time in the spotlight and competing to be crowned the region’s top singing company.

Returning this year to the American Idol-like competition were the dynamic hosting duo, Local 12 anchor Bob Herzog and Q102's JonJon. Joining them were judges Kathy Wade, Emmy-nominated singer/producer, Bronson Arroyo, Cincinnati Reds legend, and newcomers Victoria Morgan, artistic director of Cincinnati Ballet, and Tyshawn Colquitt, six-time winner of "Showtime at the Apollo" and contestant on NBC's "The Voice."

ArtsWave CincySings has built quite the following over the years. This year's rendition reflected that support. Nearly 1,000 tickets were distributed and over 2,200 viewed online through the live simulcast on Cincinnati.com. While the judges were tasked with choosing the top three winning choirs, those 3,200+ audience members also got in the act through the Cincinnati.com Online Fan Favorite competition. The winner of the Fan Favorite automatically qualifies for next year’s competition. Proceeds support the 2019 ArtsWave Community Campaign. Thanks to a matching gift by event sponsor Accenture, the online vote raised over $12,000 to be invested back into the community through 100+ ArtsWave-funded organizations.

Our thanks to everyone who attended, the companies and employees who participated, our judges and hosts, and, of course, Accenture for their continued support.
