Manager, Community Campaign & Engagement

We are looking for candidates who want to work in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic nonprofit organization that is committed to supporting the community and bridging cultural divides through the arts.

To be successful in this role, you will be an excellent communicator who is proactive and invigorated by learning and problem-solving. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing a solid base of employee, individual and corporate supporters and developing and leveraging engagement opportunities to ensure a successful annual community campaign. 

The essential functions of the Manager, Community Campaign & Engagement role are:
- Managing a portfolio of 100+ accounts, building and maintaining year-round relationships with key contacts and providing support, ideas and connections during the community campaign
- Serving as the staff lead for an affinity group and engagement opportunities as assigned
- Monitoring campaign performance and evaluating effectiveness through data analysis and reporting, adjusting as needed to optimize outcomes
- Staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to community engagement and fundraising
- Representing the organization at community events, meetings, and forums to raise awareness and build relationships with key stakeholders
 
The skills and experience required for this role include:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and reasonably adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, and public speaking, with a knack for storytelling and persuasion
- Proficiency using Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint as well as donor/customer database platforms; working knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms
- Experience with data analysis and reporting, using metrics to drive decision-making and measure campaign impact
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Passion for the arts and a commitment to advocating for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in all aspects of the organization’s work
- Ability to listen to and appropriately respond to feedback with a commitment to continuous improvement
- High level of integrity, discretion, and a passion for the organization’s mission and vision
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field or commensurate hands-on experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or sales

This is a hybrid role with a work schedule that normally will be Monday through Friday and may include weekends and/or evenings. This role may require occasional travel to other locations and attendance at events and meetings.

ArtsWave offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan with up to 7% employer match, paid time off, and paid parking.

The starting salary range for the position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
