The ArtsWave Puzzle Crawl

Split up into teams or go solo in the ArtsWave Puzzle Crawl! This new engagement tool, coming from the traditions of scavenger hunts and escape rooms, will test your wits against a series of arts-inspired brain teasers. The solution to each puzzle will serve as a password to unlock the next step.

How it Works

You'll find just about everything you need to host a virtual Puzzle Crawl right here. You, as host, will be the Puzzle Master. Host a virtual meeting through Zoom (or your preferred virtual meeting platform). When all of the players have joined your meeting, send everyone a link to the starting point (see below). Then, split everyone into breakout rooms — these will be your teams.

Once the teams are assigned, all you need to do is wait and answer any questions that may arise. At the end of the end of the game, players will reach a page instructing them to send their Puzzle Master a specific message. The first team to send that message wins!

We recommend playing through each puzzle ahead of time so you know what to expect. It will also prepare you to troubleshoot if anyone gets stuck. Be sure to have a prize for the winning team!
